To all Patriots and Supporters,
In accordance with tradition, the victors of the 2020 challenge are responsible for kicking off the details for the 2021 event. The Patriots Australia MMC State of Origin Challenge this year will be hosted once again by the Barwon Chapter at their Club House in Bingara 20 – 21 Mar 21. Last year the Military Brotherhood MMC from NSW and QLD were invited to support their relevant State Patriots Team in their battle for the Trophy. This turned out to be very enjoyable for both Clubs so this year we have once again extended the invitation.

The State of Origin was first conducted in 2016 and has continued every year since then. This event has proven to be a huge success and is now firmly entrenched as an annual activity. The aim is to provide an opportunity to mingle with our fellow Patriots from each side of the border. The coordination of the event is conducted jointly by the State Councils of Qld and NSW.
For this event the ‘Original Chapter’ is the chapter you were first patch up at or if patched up outside of NSW or QLD then the first chapter in either of these states that you were a member of. Members will be representing the State they initially rode in as a fully patched member, not the NRL State Team you follow. National records will be consulted to confirm details.

Chainsaw (President of Qld State Council) is the ride co-ordinator for the QLD attendees.
Sparrow (President of NSW State Council) is the ride co-ordinator for the NSW attendees.
Ride Instructions:
TBA – Detailed ride instructions will be released by Ride Co-ordinators mid-February.

4. Bar Games (Pool, Boat Races etc)
The overall winner of these events will be awarded the perpetual PAMMC SOO shield and bragging rights for the next twelve months.

T-Shirts:

T-shirts can be ordered for the State you are representing (NSW – blue, and QLD – maroon) with the PA logo, your ride name and number on the front. (You will wear the T-Shirt that you were originally patch up with i.e. if you were patched in QLD and are now with NSW you will be representing QLD and have the honour of wearing maroon) This year T-shirts will be produced using the same design as last year with 2021 within the embroidery. To reduce costs for members who have a T-shirt from past years, a 2021 patch can be ordered to attach to the T-shirt you received in previous years. Please indicate your choice in the registration form attached. This initiative will allow members to utilise the old T-shirt for years to come.

When making payment please include the following:
Ride Name and Patriots Number to ensure recognition of your payment. If this is not included there is no way for organizers to identify payments and there would be a risk that your T=shirt would not be ordered – so don’t forget!
