MBMMC ROUNDUP 2019
Date: Roundup is Friday 15 to Sunday 17 November 2019.
Location: The Adelaide Hills Convention Centre (AHCC) 145A Mount Barker Road, Hahndorf SA
General Outline: Friday night meet and greet reception (light meal provided), Saturday AM Club conference (Coffee, tea and light snack provided), Club picture, Saturday PM organised ride and or free time for tourist activities (Lunch own means), Saturday PM Club dinner (BBQ main and dessert provided), Sunday AM farewells and or free time for tourist activities.
Facilities: AHCC forms an essential element of the newly developed Hahndorf Resort, located in the Germanic Town of Hahndorf, just 20 minutes from Adelaide’s CBD yet feels like a world away. Sitting atop 13ha of manicured grounds and boasting uninterrupted views of the picturesque Adelaide Hills, the AHCC offers diversity, flexibility and exceptional service, five event spaces, standout culinary alternatives, professional support services and 4-star quality accommodation on-site. Every convenience is at your fingertips.
AHCC: Is a new iconic 2 level venue within Hahndorf Resort, showcasing the natural glory of the Adelaide Hills with stunning views of the Mount Lofty Ranges through full-length glass concertina doors leading to expansive 150m2 outdoor timber decks on both levels. Bringing the outside in is a major feature of this outstanding state-of-the- art multifunction venue that has the class and capacity to host your next conference or gala event.
Attractions: Hahndorf Resort is 800 metres from the Germanic tourist town of Hahndorf, with any number of attractions from cuckoo clocks to leatherwear, German pubs to small goods, wineries to Beerenburg factory, tattoo parlor to psychics. There is a shuttle bus available that can be used for tours and for transport to and from Adelaide airport.
Accommodation: On site there are 52 one to three bedroom dwellings, catering for individuals, families, those that require disability access, from the budget conscious to executive suites. They have ample powered sites for caravans, camper trailers, and camping. We hope to accommodate all members on site and have made a booking to secure the resort. However, there is plenty of overflow accommodation in Hahndorf that is only 800 metres away.

An additional 60 rooms accommodation can be booked at The Hahndorf Motor Lodge, The Manna of Hahndorf or The Haus Studio Apartments on (08) 8388 1000.
Payment Includes: Venue hire, upper and lower decks, convention centre and dining area. Meals included; Friday night reception, Canapés and mini meals, Saturday morning tea, light snack, tea and coffee, Saturday night Club dinner, BBQ main course and dessert.
Payment Excludes: Accommodation, meals not detailed above, tourist excursions, courtesy bus trips to Airport.
Payments: We are aware the cost of Roundup 2019 is significantly more than in previous years and therefore we are spreading out the payments. Accommodation can be booked now and a deposit will be required, Adelaide Sub Branch will require a deposit of $20 pp by 30 April 19 and the balance of $100 pp is required by 31 August 19.

Event Timeline
15 November 2018: Adelaide Roundup 2019 Flyer released, FB Page active, and Accommodation bookings available, sent via SR to members;
15 March 2019: Adelaide Roundup Expression of Interest, sent via SR to members;
30 April 2019: Consolidated return/deposit ($20) pp sent by Sub Branch to Adelaide;
31 August 2019: Balance of payment $100 pp paid by Sub Branch to Adelaide, last day to request refund of deposit;
15 October 2019; Last day to request refund, maximum refund is %50 of total; and
15-17 November 2019 Roundup conducted.
Summary Hahndorf Resort has successfully hosted many bike and car club conventions including Patriots and more recently Can Am Spyder convention in 2017. We believe Roundup should showcase each state’s attractions and allow members to come together in a relaxed atmosphere in facilities befitting our great club. Adelaide is centrally located providing the best opportunity for all members to travel to Roundup. Hahndorf Resort is the ideal venue and will set the benchmark for future Roundups.
A detailed schedule of events will be provided once the National Executive provides Adelaide with their requirements within the Expression of Interest is released on 15 March 2019. Roundup/Club merchandise, special dietary needs, Airport transfers, medical special needs, and Harley Davidson recovery will be covered also.
